Third street library in Prague was opened on 17th of September 2013 in Heroldovy sady. The first one was První pražská veřejná úschovna opuštěných knih Jaroslava Haška (The first public Prague´s Depository of abandoned books) in Školská street 28. The second was a small public library in Náměstí Svobody in Prague 6.
The Street library concept lies in fact that everyone can borrow a book, take it home and after reading put it back again. Through this library will literature find its way even to people who don´t buy books, or don´t have time to visit libraries.
